  • that sleeves are just pressed on ? just asking because i dont know anything about sleeving blocks.

  • What kind of sleeves are those? Won''t it be a pain in the ass getting it aligned during installation? I believe Darton sleeves requires custom drilling for the wrist pin hole for EJ257 applications so it makes the installation part easier and virtually eliminates the alignment part.

  • why you didn't "ate" the whole stock cylinder sleeve???

  • jhon, after this hole prosess can you also O-ring the sleeves ? if you dont mind me asking what would the hole work cost me?

  • @StevenJamesJ I've worked with one place as good as this. Mulders Auto Machine here in Boise. 1 man shop, clean as a whistle. Knows his stuff. a great deal of the motors that run at Meridian Speedway use and win with his engines.

  • awsome work man

  • these longer videos are very good, id love to see even more of these longer more in depth vids. thanks john! great work

  • I liked the part with the torque plate to get everything straight, and very good explanation!

  • How much can one expect to pay for sleeving a subaru block? I've got an EJ22e stroker that had a stock bore and an oil pump bypass malfunction took out the crank and mains. Engine is being checked now but the machinist didn't seem optimistic. IF the bores are worn (which I'm hoping is not the case, the engine ran for 2 hours) I'd be either buying new pistons from wiseco or putting sleeves in. Thanks!
