@pacificcoast101 Thanks for the info. My Son and I are planning a dive trip to the PV area to hunt for lobster. I thought that crane would be good structure for bugs. Oh well, I'm sure there are othe areas where we can find them.
I'm looking forward to watch your next vid.

Love the shots of the lincod, tree fish, and the shrimp. Its looked like the eel wasn't interested in the bait, bummer. I have to make my way out the the barge, its hard not to dive shallow when the sun is out like its been.

Great footage from inside the barge. That LingCod @ 1:52 came right up to you. They were fleeing from me today! I need to remember to slow down when approaching them.

Awesome vid, loved it. Did you see any lobsters?

I've dived the crane when there were lobsters piled four high underneath it, but haven't seen more than two lobsters there in the past couple of years. The area changes a lot. Some years the kelp is so thick that you can't get a boat within fifty feet of the crane, other years, there is no kelp anywhere nearby.

I wish I was rich enough to afford a nice camera like you obviously have. Great video! Which porno is that sound track from?

@psychosolodiver I had a great plan. I've been working the same menial job for 34 years. I drive a 4 cylinder Mazda pickup with 300,000 miles on it, and I hung out at Marineland for many years waiting for someone like Merry to come along and take me home with her. :)
I don't drink nor smoke, and the money I save plus what I would have paid in rent for four years went toward my half of the boat. I saved for another year for the camera. At least you drive a chick magnet! :)

Really nice - loved that little shrimpfest on the crane!
What kind of lights were you using? In fact, what kind of camcorder, housing, etc?
Maybe global warming will give us some more decent-vis days here in SoCal...
