I remember my dad had a computer that restarted unexpectedly every few seconds not because of a bug, but the fan was overheating. So we replaced it with a Vista run by DELL.
Hmm I have seen several Mac ads on here and you seem to be commenting on many of them. I love Macs but am not going around calling all PC's BS even though my experiences have not been the best with them. You should appreciate Macs are doing better because that will cause pc to become better because of competition. Then Macs will be better then pc...etc. this pushes us into the future. It has always been this way since we lice in a free market economy.
Oh, and I forgot - congratulations on your mythical unicorn of a PC! Windows XP hasn't crashed once in 4 years? You must feel pretty special to be the only one.
The ad isn't addressing unexpected reboots. It is addressing Windows' need to be rebooted after installing software or performing basic configuration changes - thanks to the Registry. OS X only requires a reboot on updates to the operating system.
Ive got windows xp pro and its always crashing and rebooting the next computer i get is gonna be a mac what is the point in buying windows vista when all they have done is copy apple anyway
Perhaps the fact that they aren't true? I've used a PC running windows xp pro for over 4 years and it has NEVER had a virus, or crashed, or rebooted unexpectedly.
