48 here and have been shown something with this band i have not seen before and i have seen them all. I traveled to see them play in a warehouse in LA 3 years ago and was able to speak to Ritzy afterward. All i told her was that they were going to be on quite a ride and to enjoy it. She gave me her lucky Xmas rubber ducky and a hug. Surreal.

I'm a 54 year old man. I saw the band on the Letterman show. My musical taste ranges from Lightning Hopkins to Vivaldi. But, when I heard The Joy Formidable, I was instantly a fan. They sounded nothing like I'd ever heard before. Ritzy's confidence as lead vocalist is mesmerizing. The Joy is powerful, and original in their artistic perspective. The last band I heard with such an original voice was The Smashing Pumpkins or even Nirvana. In my opinion, The Joy Formidable are here to stay.

Magic. I can't describe how they make me feel. But it's unique to anything I've ever felt from other artists. Joy Formidable is implanted in my heart forever!
