Durga Puja - 'The Power of Ma'

Whipped and powerless the male Gods, led by Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, pray desperately for help. Suddenly, in an explosion of power and light. The Divine Shakti of the male Gods spewed forth from their bodies as pure unbridled creative energy. The seven Shaktis rose into the sky and merged together to become the beautiful goddess Durga. Thus empowered by the combined Shakti of the gods, She is stronger than any of them. Fearlessly, she rides into battle and conquers the demon king Mahishasura. The seven Maha Devis praise Durga with gratitude. With balance restored the oppression of the cosmos has ended for now.
