Pistol cartridge lever-actions have had attention of the American public since the days of the Old West when having a rifle and pistol that shoot the same caliber just made sense.

There are numerous variations-rifles, carbines, standard loop, oversized loop-including Rossi's Model '92 hybrid-the Ranch Hand. The Ranch Hand is available in three popular pistol rounds- .38 Spl./.357 Mag., .44 Mag. and .45 Colt.

The Ranch Hand's 12-inch barrel complies with federal regulations, and features a gold-bead front sight with an adjustable buckhorn rear sight and an oversized loop lever.

I'm getting one of these soon and I'm going to get a holster for it from Rob Leahy over at Simply Rugged holsters, he's a really great guy and they make some of the best holsters you can get for the money. Nice to see another respectable citizen of our great state out enjoying their second amendment rights.

@bigdaddyhoffman1911 Well those FMJs have a hard round copper nose that I hear may possibly set off a primer. I don't know of anyone who has ever had a detonation as a result but its still a question/concern I had.

Noticing in your video here BDH, that youve got that INDEPENDANCE ammo....i just recently got some from my local gun shop. Now, i asked for some "cheap 45acp", and thats what they gave me, but ive shot thru two boxes and no problems....ill continue to shoot it....
