Showering at the Gym in the Men's Locker Room

I hear you on this whole locker room situation and resentment towards bio guys. I've had my share of these feelings, they come and go in certain situations as you had said. I've had all surgeries and I still have some resentment towards bio guys (not even close to being pre-op) though. So, I am saying to just try as hard as it is to stay positive and the penis isn't everything as I'm sure you know. Another suggestion you can do in the locker room is changing in a stall after you shower?

@FacelessMan100 I think I may misunderstand you. You said have you've had all surgeries, but then mention being not even close to pre-op. I do try to be positive, but as you know, certain situations just naturally bring out the jealousy. It takes a lot of mental discipline.  I have changed in the bathroom stall, but felt the more I did things differently from other guys, the more aware I was of my differences. So, it makes me feel better about myself that I can shower, change, etc like others

Hey Chris, I mean I have resentment but it isn't nearly to the degree as it was when I was pre-op "downstairs". Ah, okay that makes sense then to not change in the stalls. And, I can say this since I've felt/still feel at times these similar feelings regarding jealousy etc. towards bio guys...as crappy as it is..I've learned to accept what I have because there's nothing else I can do about it..I hope you get to that point in your journey..I have my days where I resent just not as much.

@ryanhowardlee Thanks for the comments and the congrats. I know it's hard not to be resentful and literally have penis envy. I have to remind myself it's not their fault (bio guys) that they were born with the junk. But that doesn't change how hard it is for all us transguys.

I know exactly where your coming from with "what a waste of a penis!" as well as the resentment feelings towards bio males. Our lives continue to play out to be complicated in more ways than I ever imagined before transitioning. Guys have no idea how lucky they are to be born with all their parts, how simple things become so complicated when you don't! I havent visited the locker rooms yet, so good for you!! And ps having a plan and practicing it is a good idea. Better to go into battle with a
