Now the Spanish government is laying claim to all sunken Spanish ships wherever they may be. It seems the State Dept. and US government in general is encouraging Spain in this. Spain laid claim to all 500 million found by treasure salvers last year and it is now in the federal courts. It is ironic that Spain wants back what they stole from the Incas and othre Indian tribes 300 years ago as the murdered and plundered the Aztecs and Incas ! I would throw it back in the ocean first !

Personaly if I knew it would be confiscated, it never would be declared in the first place. Or, it would be a case of " look at all the freshly melted down gold I found panning up in the hills, hehe".
