It's quite heavy, yes, but not so much as a Les Paul. it's an amazing guitar, i've had one for nine months, great bang for your buck, kicks the shit out of a Gibson Les Paul, and costs half as much.

i love dean man they have made all tipes of guitars and a love them all i really prefer dean guitar than ibanez or gibson or fender or bc rich

@KirkJimmy Started with a shitty Squier, moved to an Epiphone Les Paul (forget what kind, but it was a higher-end one) and then onto the Soltero!

@RobotFollower Well when it comes to guitars like these, "better" is subjective. It's not quite as clunky feeling or bassy sounding as a Les Paul, in my opinion.

Not the same neck but why order online? Put your hands on one @ a store and you can tell instantly whether it's the right axe for you.

If you really like the Gibson LP neck then I think you'd like the Dean better. The Epi model has a different slope that I think isn't as nice as the Soltero.

Very comfortable. It's not to round & it doesn't have the 'V' profile that the Dime series does.
