Yeah, I know he left after planets along with mike, then luke came, then left and bobby/ed came for Kill the headlights, and about midnight panic. I never actually heard anything come from his solo project but it didn't seem to go anywhere.

I was just saying I heard somewhere that Vikrophone was about him and his habit, being planets was completely written by the band themselves and luke only sang the lyrics for the most part.

First of all, Marky didn't record Planets! that album was released when Luke was the frontman. Marky left after Unstable. And I do understand what happened to him, cuz after all these years is normal for someone to get depressed... after all, he left the band. Then tried a new one (Midnight Panic), then couldn't make it and gave up. Then started a solo project which never released. It's tough, bro.

well, assuming that the song "vikrophone" on planets was about him being on drugs and hiding it in his microphone (forget where I heard that), he might have gone through some withdraw and gaining weight is very common.
