An addendum to the Carvin C750T / Taylor 812ce demo video (by request) http://youtu.be/FjM9pBSteCQ
Recorded with the exact same signal chain and settings.
Thanks to "lefty6string" from the Carvin forum for the request.

All around nice! Great technique and a very nice sound out of a thin guitar body. I would not have thought that possible. I have been looking into getting a thinner acoustic electric guitar and wondered what the Carvins sounded like. This video helps alot. May I ask how you recorded the sound? I ask because I know that is a very expensive mic you have in front.

@93Terp Thanks! I used a Shure KSM32 through an API A2D mic preamp and processed with a few dB of compression from UAD LA2A into UAD Studer A800 with a 3dB LF cut on UAD Pultec and a touch of EMT 140 Plate reverb. What I love most about this guitar though is the playability. If I just want to noodle on a guitar, this is my first pick - it's such a joy to play.
