Magellan Maestro 3100 gps battery replacement. I was looking for information on this topic but did not find what I was looking for. Being a bit of a geek, I figured I'd make a procedure for you all. Serial numbers of batteries are also shown.

It's better to have a battery installed, because it acts like a ballast to smooth transients, such as spikes and voltage droops.

u can just leave the battery out it runs without battery.
