@TheIronChancellor1 If i remember correctly, Wallace only appears if Scotland get his ass kicked. At least that what happens when i play as Norway

@Retillias Hmm... Sounds like a wise plan. I'll try and do that, but right now Haakon kinda has the upper hand over my scots at the moment :/ I'm hoping Wallace will present himself soon.

@TheIronChancellor1 I left Ireland till last. My conquest was in phases, eliminating each faction one at a time. It worked pretty well until the Welsh decided to cut in line. I still destroyed them though. The Norwegian territories are perfect for military bases, especially the southernmost one, so once they're out of the picture, the rest of the British will fall into place pretty quickly.

@Retillias Indeed, no one belongs in Scotland but the Scottish! But of course this is my first playthrough of Britannia (and actually, any Medieval II campaign..) so I admit I'm a bit of a noob :P but I'm now concentrating the bulk of my forces to taking down the Norwegians... Which means moving troops out of Ireland, but I'll get back to them later.

@TheIronChancellor1 I thought it was wiser to remove the Norwegians first, since they don't belong in Scotland. A victory is a victory, but its always best to give yourself some breathing room before taking on the bolder threats

@Retillias Unfortunatly, I did. :P At the time I was at war with England also and invading their Irish territories, the Norwegians caught me off guard but I drove them off nonetheless.

This reminds me of the time when my 250 Scots in Inverness beat back a much larger Norwegian force of 500 with only 1 Highland Pikemen battalion, 2 Highlanders, 1 Highland Archer, and a General's Bodyguard.
