Kisses Sweeter Than Wine

My version of this old tune. I first heard it performed by Bongwater, although the song has a long illustrious history which is easily accessed by it's wikipedia page. I put the closing in Dutch in honor of our (hoped) trip to Amsterdam this winter to celebrate me living for 40 years. EGADS! The video is filmed entirely in our teensy apartment. Leslie winced repeatedly at the messy state viewable in the background. "OH LORD! What will the world think!?"

Well, my dear, they will understand that this little apartment where you lived when we met and where we both now live together is the very spot of hearth and home, where the kisses are sweeter than wine.

The song gave me the opportunity to put a little banjo in a song. For that I am grateful.

I tend to put a little goof at the end of songs. This one is a touch of Axl for my good friend Chris. Cheers.
