  • Bad ass bro .. I got the 98 MarkVII PEARL white . Just starting my mods .

  • Um... well... it was really a 3 year project and it's more than just the nitrous kit and the water/meth. You have to be able to use that power, safely. I would say all told I probably have about 2 grand in it after you add on everything like the rear end, electronics, etc. I could replicate it pretty quickly now, though. Most of the time I spent was experimenting.

  • Cool. Yeh, I'm pretty annoyed with the typical consumer who stopped buying the two door. Us bachelors need them (speaking for myself). That Mk VIII was an excellent design, and having had a Lincoln, I miss the computer and really wanted the wrap around console. How much effort and cost went into setting up the nitrous and meth/water systems? Install looks great btw.

  • No it is entirely original, with 130K+ miles on it. Mine does not have the sunroof. Back in the day, there was a real competition going on between the Mark VIII, the Eldorado and the Riviera... crazy days back when a 2 door car was still in fashion, before the advent of the SUV.

  • Yeh, I agree. But for a Mk VIII, nearly is just fine:^) That is a favorite model of car, but i ended up buying the Riv since they could be found used without the sunroof. But I did like the V8 and HP rating in the Lincoln. Elsewhere I think I saw this was not the original engine? Was it stroked or replaced?

  • I am told that it is probably bringing the passenger side front about an inch off the ground, but everytime I see an up close video of it, it doesn't look like it is actually doing it.

  • Hey, thanks for putting that up. I was really interested in seeing what that launch looked like.
