does peanuts have calcium?

@madass888 The seventh-day adventist food study is this peer reviewed study you are looking for. It shows conclusively that vegeterians live about 7 years longer then their american counter parts, have less colen andbrest cancer than the general population. That is statisticaly very significant by anyones measure. Especially when you consider they lead very similar life styles as other americans in other ways.

thank you

Trouble is that you also need vitamin D to make use of calcium, but vegans don't get vitamin D.
Also, the foods that you listed in your reply to GOBRAGH2 contain plenty of phytates and oxalates, which block your uptake of nutrients. It's a recipe for illness.

There are many, but none ruled out those factors.

There is plenty. Look up "vegetarians live longer" on Google.

Vegetarians are in general more health conscious than the average person. They smoke less, drink less. They're often middle class and they don't do hard labor. These factors have an significance influence on life span.
Show me a peer reviewed study where these factors are ruled out and vegetarians have a significance higher lifespan.

@madass888 Meat eating is bad for us. Well known fact is that people who live long healthy lives are vegetarians.
You look at the world and assume that is how things have always been. Your logic is its impossible today therefore it was impossible in the past.
Your welcome to believe in the evolution fairy tale.
Thank you for posting. I was wondering what other kinds of foods contained calcium. Its a concern I have since I've discovered I have a milk allergy and I'm looking for alternative ways to consume calcium.
