nil1230: You actually realize that a single-lens reflex camera ain't comparable to a medium format camera? Try taking a Hasselblad - even if it's a monster of a camera - to a sports field to take some pictures of running rugby athletes and i think your leafshutters would start to seem pointless. This is what a 1D-series camera is about and you're also missing the whole point about SLR's alltogether.

Yeah, if you want to pay freaking 30,000 dollars for a camera. 5,000 dollars is enough.

buffer is too slow? Your card is too slow.
-
it doesnt matter how fancy your photo gear is. You still have to be in the right place at the right time.
-
allright, but only thing i wanted to say is: the fps are always same, and thats right :)
sorry for my bad english :)
-
@TheBurnout96 Well the FPS is the same, but the buffer would fill up a lot faster because the card can't write fast enough to keep up with it.

I want that Camera but its freakin Expensive!

What about a giveaway? :D

@mehmetnayal D3S schoots at 9 Fps!!! maybe 11fps when shooting in dx mode with only 8 or 6 megapixels.....
-
10fps on a macro make some sense to me them dang bugs move fast.

**...with a slow SD memory card)
the memory card has nothing to do with the photos, because the camera has a intern memory, which saves the photos for a short time, so the fps are always the same.

When would you ever need such a fast burst, shooting macro?
