It's the other one, Megaroad-13 (similar ship class with SDF-2 Megaroad 01, where Hikaru, Misa and Minmay boarded in Macross 2012 Flashback).
It was Megaroad 13 that colonized the Varuta and unexpectedly found the Protodevlin, and then turn into Varuta force.

@Overdoseplus well there's two different endings. one if you choose not to fire at gilliam you'll reunite with him.
two if you fire at him you'll have to beat gilliam later.
dies anyways if you trust him. Toma is the traitor if you trust gilliam. Suzie will leave in both scenario's.

Macross VF-X2 is considered canon to entire Macross franchise due to three things:
1. VF-X Ravens and subsequent privatization of Armed Forces are hypothesized to pave the way to formation of PMCs such as SMS Sq. in Frontier.
2. Before Op. My Fair Lady (Mission 11), Maria mentioned the Sharon Apple Incident just before assaulting Macross City.
3. And don't forget, VB-6 Konig Monster that SMS used debuted in this game.
In any way, this game brings back fond memories.

Well, both ships are of the New Macross Class. The only real differences Battle 13 would have is the Song Jamming System and probably an improved Gunship.
