Students give feedback about what problems they are having with machine code. Most problematic topic seems frames.
Richard revises: what *is* a frame? how is a frame used? roles of the calling function and the called function. what is the return address and how is it used? what is the frame pointer and how is it used?

  • @skinnycat59 i just watched it before this lecture , so it is not private anymore =)

  • @6:30.. hes such a good teacher.. when students didnt know abt frames he was so polite in explaining rather than thinking abt the syllabus and time constraints as all other teachers do...

  • hjahja! ljove the cjaptjon!

  • since we're being semi-helpful...

Refreshing videos with those n-second ads in the beginning will sometimes reload the video without the ad. I find that the more money was spent making the ad the less the chances of you being able to refresh out.

  • Number 15 is flagged as private - I can't access it at all :-(

  • If you get a "We're sorry, this video is no longer available." message, click the 'watch in normal quality' link. I panicked for a second before thinking of trying that and being relieved it appears only the high quality version is unavailable.

  • That girl asked exactly what I was wondering, what a frame is in actual code. I kept picturing a literal box and wondered how it translated into code.

This was great and cleared a lot of stuff up!
