I do try to shop at black owned hair shops, because asians disrespect us behind our backs, one asian shop owner had the cheek to say to me my hair was better than other black womens hair because it is not so tough. And another person or him in the same shop asked my asian friend whose boyfriend is black why she would go out with someone soo dark. Alot these people are taking our money and laughing after us, do not be fooled.

im a puerto rican women and my daughter has nappy hair. lots of latina men and women have nappy hair. im going to be opening a store soon, i agree asians and indians are running all these stores, but thats because nobody else is stepping up. their smart, they know where the money is at. see i have passion for hair and doing hair, thats the difference. But since im Latina not Black does it really make a difference? smdh

Cuz in the UK, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Indian people are called ASIAN while in North America, people from east and southeast asia are called ASIANS. if you think these people are racist, then go to South America where racism towards Blacks is very overt. I just watched a documentary where the plastic surgeon was like "Why do you want to look Beyonce. She's a bit Black" to the white presenter. SMH.

I remember when i was in Londond (east london.. green street) So mant indians/asians owning black hair stores and know NOTHING about our hair. But money talks!

What was said in the documentary is true. Its the same in the UK as in the states. The black hair care industry here is dominated by Asian's. The black people that are smart should boycott your hair shops like I have.
