I believe it. People are funny that way- to be so discerning when it comes to looks. Whereas, a dog will give you his love you no matter what, whether you're pretty or "Fugyly"!
DDB's tend to be very sweet, gentle, and sensitive! They are giant, goofy, love bugs! Your dogs look to be good friends already!
After studying some pictures, I was mistaken- Mack's tail was broken in the same spot! Best dog we ever loved!

Our first, most beloved DDB, "Mack", was born with a broken tail just like Fugly. His was knotted just almost midway through the tail. It made me smile to see that crooked tail again, we miss him so much.

thanks eakatt, can you believe no one wanted him because of his tail? He has one of the best characters of any dog we have ever had, he is so loving and cuddly, as opposed to Bella who is a typical Jack Russell, into everything, darting around and causing mischief but just as loveable!
