Nice. The people who live there say 'Ap-a-LATCH-in, rather than the way you said it.

Oh ya? I made a 14" x 2 3/4 Bodhran drum out of a deepwell hubcap for a F550 tour bus and covered it with body work floor application plastic =oD I used a broomstick for the middle and made it tuneable useing allen keys and fabricated steel brackets moving a round piece of plywood i cut to fit and sanded, up and down...
I also airbrushed celtic designs around the outside and clearcoated it.
All thanks to Jesse wonderful instructional video on how the Bodhran drum works =oD

Jesse...Search on David Schnaufer and/or Tennessee Box Dulcimer. Dulcimers evolved into many styles and shapes after inspiriation from memory of or actual European instruments. It appears the box dulcimer was more common in Tennessee where the hourglass shape may have evolved with slight nuances to the shape out of Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky. Nice dulcimer and you do a great job explaining it along with your other videos that explain/teach.
Thanks
Dave

Sweet dulcimer, I've got a new project to spend the rest of my free time with.

Very cool. Another North American original instrument would be the banjo, which was developed by African slaves.

three good words " I Made That "
Very Cool!
It seems like the video might have stopped before you intended.

The original video was too long, so I had to split it up.
Thanks for watching,
