its a 5 speed. the 3.2 was a 6 speed but also could do 270 in 5th gear 3.2 was geard 4 325+-kmh but will just just make 300 in tip top condition with limiter removed that being the evo 2 door 321hp

US M3 E36 was first 3.0L and later 3.2L, both have 240hp!
Euro M3 E36 was first 3.0L with 286hp and later 321hp 3.2L!
