The sound of an SP definitely is unmatched. "funny how softyware users with tons of more options come weaker then a dude with just an sp 1200" Not necessarily. If you don't have talent, then you'll come weak on any piece of gear. And if you're dope on a limited machine like the SP, then imagine what you could do with software with many features. Limitations force you to become creative. I remember that from my old Roland MS-1. Gear with many features only is great if you can handle that luxury.
