Law-abiding people calling for more gun control is like chickens rooting for Colonel Sanders. They are in good company though; every tyrant in the last 200 years has wanted an unarmed populace. How progressive.

It's not the guns, it's the people inclined to misuse them that need to be controlled.

Realize once you post your views in public, they are open to public debate, and a lot of the public take their rights to self defense and rights to bear arms very seriously.

This is so misguided. Have you been downtown lately? Gangsters walk the streets, dealing and robbing in broad daylight. Cops stand around and joke with them. You need a serious police crackdown. You need cops arresting every 3rd person in your downtown district. Then you might start to make a difference in murder and crime rates.

See the video "Shot for Nothing" and tell us all about the criminal not hurting you if you're not a threat. What would be wrong with LAWFUL people protecting themselves against the UNLAWFUL. WTF talking things out having to do with gun violences. Why not have everyone carry a gun? It would just be a mex-showdown. Nobody would shoot anyone whose not willing to get shot. Gun gets respect, although not good respect, but it beat none. No respect=easy target to be pick on. Criminals are smart enough knowing the odds not in anyones favor to start shit. In the world like now, shooting someone is alway justify by the shooter, as whatever value had trigger pulled. Well thats how it's rolls!

It may, one thing for sure it wouldn't increase, and if it does it would only mean there would only be guilty ppl involved. This isn't even an arguement. Maybe you ought to open your eyes because later on in the video it says "do your part and talk things out before another life is lost". And let me get this straight, basically what your implying is that your idealistic world is one where everyone is carrying a gun? You really think that drug dealers or gang bangers are going to stop shooting each other regardless if guns or legal or not? What kind of world are you living in that you think its justifiable to shoot someone?
