to all the know-alls..your daddy got the timing wrong
-
The timing is perfect. (red is intake, blue is exhaust.) IF IT WERE a 2-cylinder engine it would be out of BALANCE because there are 180-degrees between power strokes and it takes 720-degrees to complete the 4-stroke cycle. Therefore a more normal 2-cyl engine would fire every 360-degrees. (Don't get me started on Harleys!) The representation is probably only showing 2-cylinders of an immaginary 4-cylinder engine, and is therefore correct.

how did u made piston motion plz help
-
@plastbestikk Correction. I was totaly wrong. sorry
-
no, the timing on the intake valve is wrong... it's open during the upstroke, not the downstroke like it should be. there are also times when BOTH valves are open.
-
@bobjims i was talking about right before the compression stroke on the closest cylinder. but i could be wrong im not perfect.
-
@magicmechanic86 That is the compression stoke, both valves must be closed during this stroke.
-
the red opens way early see
-
the timing is off look at the left cylinder both valves are shut while the piston is rising in one of the revolutions........
-
lol
there valves are just backwards
you just define the contact with the cylinder (transparent) and the pin (light grey).
