  • @nylefrmr It means that Square allows you to place items into inventory as taxable items and add the appropriate sales tax, which it will track for your tax records. It has nothing to do with making money without paying taxes. It's just part of the point of sale system that comes with Square.

  • so does this mean that a business can make sales without paying taxes?

  • The part about the tipping that I dislike is that my customers occasionally tell me that they were overcharged, and I have to tell them that it takes a little bit more money from your account, and that if they didn't tip then it will be automatically corrected.

  • There isn't an option for taxes on my iPhone version
