I have had the Eliminator for 3 years. At idle my CPU temp is between 5-10 C .. and at 100% load it has never exceeded 43C. And that's on a Pentium 8800 quadcore OC'ed to a FSB of 3Ghz. I'd say it works. But use a Micronised Silver compound between the CPU and the cooler.

There are a lot of things to factor in when overclocking:
your motherboard choice (as well as its' BIOS), the voltage settings, PSU size (in cross reference to total system power requirements), type of memory used & the over all overclocking capabilities of the CPU being overclocked,

how did u get it so high? i cant get mine to work after 1250 frequency which is like 2.8

I have a Freezone Elite on my overclocked Q6600 (3.8Ghz). Ambient temps can reach around mid to uppre 90f. The highest I have ever seen any of my cores go is 54c & this is after hours of gaming & stress testing on this machine (seen idle temp of 8c with 58 ambient). The case is a mid tower with Tri-Sli 260 GTX Core 216 (702/ 1404/ 1152).
Each of Coolits products inform you of their cooling capacity, the only one to choose for performance chips is eiter Boreas or Elite.

I am not sure how much money this company paid to these websites who reviewed their products.
But one thing for sure is all their watercoolers are craps. don't buy them! I wasted $200 on this shit and it makes weird noise and gets to 78c easy on my PD 820 all the time.
In addition their service depterment is fucking rude.
