Streetlight Manifesto - Would You be Impressed - Full Cover - High Quality

Remeber to watch in high quality, seems to make a big difference.

The seccond of three tracks I recorded in support of my application to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

This one features yours truly on drums, all guitars and vocals :s
All the saxes were recorded by my dad, the trumpet by a friend and the trombone and bass unfortunatly had to remain as midi. The drums were recorded at a professional studio, the rest was done at home.

The camera ran out of battery towards the end so I dropped in some footage of an earlier take to finish off the video.

i progamed up the trombone and bass in midi on cubase and used a roland jv 1080 to get the sounds

the rest is live :)

it was a really good cover. i think what definately would have made it better though is if you would have recorded the vocals harmonies. those are really high though so it may not be in your range. but it would definitely add some depth to the vocals. but in all i really enjoyed.

haha yeah i did consider putting them in but i didnt really have time, i had to have it ready for the ucas deadline so it never happened, hence the MIDI bass and tormbone, plus i probably couldnt sing that high anyway!

The voice is not quite all there...but still way better than most and keeping in Kalnoky's style, which was appreciated. A very good job on the rest though.

You defientely can tell the trumpet was from a machine... its wasnt the notes but what was in between the notes... but over all a very great cover!!!
