@citnutter You talking rubbish. With great respect to UFO called CX , XM TCT Y4 is TOOOOOP car and very reliable. "Expensive to upkeep" Where do you live mate? Antarktika?

That's about right. A petrol CX turbo is massively quicker than the heavy XM fitted with that weeny little CT motor. A 24valve Series I XM 5spd would be a good match for a petrol turbo CX. Sadly the XM is an unreliable, hideously expensive to upkeep piece of junk compared to a proper car like a CX.

I have a xm '93 tct and this one seems very slooowwww !!!
his turbo seems to boost very few or at high rpm, wich is not normal ( boost hard at 2600 rpm to 4400 rpm on this car in good condition ).
ok cx is faster, but not so much

The CX is a 100% better car than the XM...and so it won!!!!!!

Well, XM TCT isn't that slow if let the turbo charge over 2000 rpm. It's faster than a Volvo 945 Classic with 175hk.

This is one of my best CX, yes it is 25 GTI Turbo, 1984. It is without any modification, almost in original condition. Got about 200 000km and turbocharger is almost dead, need replace :)
