@illustriouschin this is more for compost, you shred it down to digestable bits so it'll rot away faster and make good compost.

You could get a machine that costs tens of thousands of dollars to shred your pumpkins, or you could just leave your pumpkins outside over night and some teenagers will smash them for free.
