im not sure, but im begining to thing the guitar throwing is all part of their act at every show. its in a couple of vids, and ive seen him get rid of it at the show i went to (although he didnt chuck it)

he got rid of his guitar twice during that concert... the first time was during i will possess your heart. When he went to the piano he shaking his head hard and for a second i thought there was something wrong with the piano too. This video was the second time it didn't work and he chucked it. It's not an act, he just has bad luck with tech guys lol. There were other times when the guitar was a bit off but he managed to fix it.
