Gizmodo has a first peek at the Barnes & Noble eReader. We'll have more info next week, but we can see that it has a multi-touch screen at the bottom, and Gizmodo says it'll be running Android. Dyson showed off their Air Multiplier Fan. It doesn't have blades! There will be a 10" and a 12" version. Wi-Fi Direct is a technology that will make it possible for devices to communicate with each other without a router. Nikon's D3S has a maximum ISO of 102,400 which means it's almost night vision. Take a look at the incredible video. Video Monkey may prove to be a good replacement for Visual Hub for compressing video to upload to the Web. If you've tried it, I'd love to hear your experience! Orange Technology Management used promo code GEEK at SquareSpace to build naples-computer.com. My promo code gives you a 12% discount. Thanks for supporting The Brief!

  • You rock Cali. I have learned so much about cool tech stuff from your podcasts.

  • that dyson fan looks hot...like really hot

  • she said nokia but im sure she meant nikon

  • Since when does Barnes & Noble "make stuff"? I was going to get a Kindle, but... hmm... should I wait for the eReader? And I guarantee that Dyson fan gives you cancer: stay away.
