HorizonRC.com Review E-flite Blade Helis, One for Every Skill Level

Flying helicopters has been a really fun experience for a huge number of RC pilots, thanks in no small part to the excellent flying characteristics of the many Blade helis from E-flite. The CX series and the really tiny mCX series of coaxial helicopters has made it practical for almost every pilot to be successful the first time he gets hold of one. The dual rotor coaxial helis are undoubtedly the easiest to fly, and they enable a pilot to progress to higher performance collective pitch helicopters such as the CP Pro 2 or Blade 400. We were able to talk with Ryan Witchey, Helicopter Category Manager for E-flite, about the specific features of each Blade heli. Our video interview outlines how the Blade lineup provides helicopter choices that allow a new pilot to progress into higher performance helicopters as he develops his own flying skills. It seems there is no end to the fun people are having with the various helis from E-flite.

could i fly the blade cp pro 2, i have flown the venom ocean resque for 3 years, its a  coaxial heli.

@awsem1o1 I would probably move to the Blade 120 SR or the Blade 400 first before going to the CP Pro 2

I have 3 cheap airhog helis a 3ch micro heli and I have a Eflite blade msr and I can fly them very good inside and outside. I started flying micro helis 3 years ago but do you think I could fly the Eflite blade CP pro? By the way how many Chanels is it? Thanks.

yes moving up to cp helis they do break even if you just touch the ground with something else than the skids.

but just keep a couple of meters up in the air like 5-10 and you should have enough time to correct.

i went from blade msr to trex 450 and i had 2 crashes since then both from hardware failure.
