  • Velcome Mats "Sudden" Sundin to Canucks.

  • what does that even mean anyways

  • Hi GSDZGMF

    ???

Axelskydd in swedish is the same as Shoulder pad (a piece of protective equipment for hockey players)

    GSDZGMF is Goaltending in Swedish.

    ;)

    Peace

  • well, it's just one word. so you should spell it axelskydd

  • I'd guess he had to think about how to pronounce certain letters in english, it's a easy word to spell for a swede. : )

  • @RoundDawn No. Pretty much the only words that excist in both the swedish and english language are latin-based words. The only languages that have any words that originate from the swedish language are Finnish, and the Baltic languages, Swedish and Latvian share more common words then Swedish and English does because both countries are very close to eachother, even though English and Swedish are actually more related to eachother. Take the ferry over to Latvia or Lithuania if you don't believe me

  • Thumbs up for the MP3 at 00:07 :D

  • @GSDZGMF Shoulder pads

  • Hold it right there! it's not spelled "Axel skydd" it's "Axelskydd"

  • they had the X right..haha

  • why make it so hard? i mean.. "axe then L like in axel.. and sky-dd like in skydd?" also you have many words in the English dictionary from the Swedish vocabulary

  • close enough -.-

  • OXALOXAKLAHHHHH xDDDDDDDDD
