I don't have them. Doing just fine without them. And I'm running 2" extended forwards with 'em as well.
The sound of the Theader is awesome and it actually deepens and gets "thoatier" the longer they're on the bike.

Awesome bike and exhaust u got there. i am planning on upgrading to THeader with my eyes closed. but i have a question. Do you need to buy a heat shield on those black exhausts

It's a small program you download from the Power commander website and and activate on your PCIII. When that it done you can adjust the fuel value and add fuel if you want for when accelerating. You can also adjust throttle sensitivity.

Trust me you'll hear it!!! It's loud! Very good sound. The shitty camera i got doesn't do it justice. You'll be mighty pleased with it i'm sure. I know I am. Performance was a big issue for me... and sound of course. Thunderheader didn't disappoint either way!!
