The November 28 episode of The Colbert Report provided a clip with which I could finally answer a subscriber question. I also pose a couple interesting questions at the end for Colbert fans and non-Colbert fans alike

You can see the full November 28 edition of "The Word" from which I took the clip I use in my video on the Comedy Central website at: http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/index.jhtml?ml_video=78729

  • I think that Stephen Colbert knows what is going on but the character he is playing usually probably doesn't

  • Or maybe, it is just comedy, and in that particular clip, he broke the mold just a little for maximum effect.

  • Stephen also writes the segment known as "the word"

  • i didn't know he is acting a character i thought he is just trying to be funny as himself, if he were a character he wouldn't use his real name.

  • @ScabiousGarde That its the biggest of religions.

  • I know this video is old but someone really had to ask that question? The show is rehearsed lol.

  • What does "microsoft of christianity" mean exactly? And also on a further note, I don't know you well but I disagree that because you watch "The Colbert Report" doesn't mean you comprehend it. It's like a small child watching "Sixty Miniuts" or something related, or the news. The child may not know what it means, but he's still watching it, iss he not? I don't know if you understand the Colbert Repot because until five miniuts ago, I had only the slightest idea of who you are. No more charecters

  • @jacksonvile12345678 "Faux" news...Genius!

  • @captfoster1 Great analogy. It would be like that "Twilight Zone" episode from the 80's where the guy wakes up one day and everyone is using different words for different things: Cat really means ice cream, flower means pickup truck, etc.

Sorry...lost the point. But anyway: great comments!

  • @BigDaddytheOG Good one! :0)
