@eyepatchentertainmen I heard that the Nikon D90 when you export the files to your pc they´re not 16:9 and you got to convert them? its that true? how do you do it?...i use the regular exported files and add vertical bars..but its really needed? or when you export them and convert them correctly you dont need to do that?..also what are the best picture mode settings? and how do you avoid getting "Noise" i also got a f/1.8D and use the "lantern trick" to AE lock the biggst aperture. thanks

@d878138 60fps video....yes, that is important. cuz you can slow it double and still have a smooth flow to it, not choppy. If you slow a 30fps vid down double, it looks choppy. therefore, you know, 60fps is the shit.

does it record in 1080 HD?

I'm considering purchasing the Nikon D7000 or the Canon EOS 60D. I'm leaning towards the Nikon but, the Canon has some video features that seem to be advantageous. Video will be an important consideration. Your thoughts? Also, should the 60FPS on the Canon be considered important?

@d878138 60fps is important for slow motion if you plan on using it for that. The actual resolution of the 720p mode on the canon cameras can barely be considered HD. IF you are interested in video, go for the GH2. If you are interested in photography the Canon and Nikon are fairly equal. I use Nikon lenses on my Canons as well.

Your tutorials have been extemely helpfull! Thanks a lot.
I actually went out and bought Sony Vega pro 9. I am unable to get the sound to work properly when I'm editing my film though. It cuts out after one second of playback. Any idea whats going on here? Can't find anything about it in the instructions.
Thanks for all the info.

I would check under your sound prefs to make sure the right sound card is selected. Also make sure that you don't have another DV or firewire device connected thats causing the problem.
