You are not working on this game at all? I am really hoping that is temporary because I would be really dissapointed if this game was canned. It has potential of being the best game in the SMBX series if it is finished probably even better than Invasion 2 which I think is a bit overrated. I am personally a fan of this one even if it is just a demo now. If you count complete ones The Great Castle Adventure is my favorite.

@Hadriex Erm, I mean if they don't reclose themselves. If they don't respond, and open when shot, that'd kinda suck. :P

Shouldn't you be able to set an actor for the metroid doors? Even if they don't respond, it'd be a nice touch. Furthermore, if you give the doors specific "weaknesses", such as ice, or fire, you can make it so the player needs powerups to open the doors. ^_^ That could be fun/secretrific. Also, if you can some chozo statues, you can place the power ups on chozo statues. ^^

Finally, I think the level is sorely lacking in metroid enemies,;but is otherwise decent.

Oh sorry about that. Did not know it was a sarcastic comment. Anyway I am very impressed with what I am seeing so far. The plot is very in depth in comparison to other SMBX fangames I have played. All the ones I have played was typical save the Princess sort of stuff. This actually has plot to it and the gameplay is epic as well. The custom bosses are my favorite part. I saw the Bowser Jr boss which reminded me of the final battle with him in SMG2 but in 2d. Awsome.
