Finally, the Air Force is taking combat arms seriously again. Its about time that the staff of the Air Force realized you don't always fight from a cockpit or a UAV console.
Good job!

@bitmp44 The team practices several evenings per week and on Saturdays. Any Intercollegiate sports would conflict too much to be able to do both.

If you are on the CST, do you still have to participate in intermurals?

@GodBlsstheUSA4Ever yes. Although we are slated to receive LOS status and excusal from some activities, for now, CST members must participate in intermurals.

hey i recieved an appointment to go to USAFA in June...I am really interested in the CST.
Are there any prerequisites to tryout? I am familiar with and have shot AR-15s and .45 handguns (glock 21)

There are prerequisites that you'll need to meet before trying out to join the CST. Your best bet is to make it thru the summer first, then contact the CIC or ACIC once the mass brief and tryouts are announced.
Good luck.

Hey guys, how does the Kimber 1911 work for y'all? How's the overall grouping and handling of the pistol? I'm considering several choices for a single stack 45 and one of them is a Kimber 1911 so any info on the weapon would be greatly appreciated.
