Adam and the Ants -- Manchester 1981 -- Stand and Deliver

Adam and the Ants. The photos are from 29th March 1981 when the Ants played Manchester Apollo as part of the "Stand and Deliver" tour.. I found some old 35mm slides collecting dust in a box in my attic. Spent some time carefully restoring/enhancing them, and I uploaded them here for your entertainment, and in the process learning how to use Sony Vegas! The music is from Adam Ant live at the Roxy LA 1981. Enjoy!

vPurpleHaze420v Thanks for that. Good that you could narrow it down. That would fit in with my distant memory of selling photos of the band in SOUNDS, shortly after we moved to a new house. I got home from work one day, and my wife told me she'd had a phone call from Adam Ant asking us to stop selling the photo's! She was a bit of a joker so it's a toss of the coin whether to believe it or not. I have changed the titles of the videos, thanks again ...

The photos are most likely from 29th March 1981 when the Ants played Manchester Apollo as part of the "Stand and Deliver" tour. He then went on a World Tour for the majority of the rest of the year before finishing off with the PCR. They last played Manchester as a band on 6th January 1982. The last gig as a band was at Deeside Leisure Centre on 23rd January 1982. Hope this helps.

@Witlessandtitless The photos would be from 1981 too as gary tibbs is in the band.They are definatly not from the prince charming revue early 1982so i would say around june/july time.I sure the last time they played manchester as a band was on the pcr.

This was 1981,live at the ritz ballroom,USA.The ants were not together in 1985,Adam was a solo performer at that time.This is from the creative artistry bootleg lp.Listen to PHYSICAL (YOU`RE SO) from the same set,it will knock your fucking socks off!!!!!!!
