Julia Child shows what a great improvisor she was ~ who would have guessed she could wield a blow torch like that? :) I _think_ this is from 1987 - my apologies for the choppy editing; i taped this near the end of a tape and wanted to make sure it didn't run out before the segment was over :)

Damn, I love Julia Child! "Beef tartare au gratin"--fabulous! He is giving her way too much shit, especially since HIS hot plate didn't work and she had less than five minutes to pinch-hit on national television. Can you imagine any of those Food Network goons trying to handle this? Nobody does it better than Julia.

What pricks disliked this video?? Julia is a legend in the U.S. She deserves the respect of every patriot of the country. Without her, Food Network wouldn't exist.
