aarons dancers are from london so they cant qualify from the nans and plus and its not copied step for step either
-
I personally wasn't commenting on any of the dancers or their ability because they're all brilliant and very capable - its just that I attended this competition personally and a large part of the points system is on original choreography so I don't think its fair that the teacher has copied someone else work step for step.

@xalz718x stop trolling. dance is just like music where you can cover another artists work. and it wasnt done poorly the girls in yellow/green skirts were good. aaron crosbies a really good school too. lots of dancers qualify for worlds at NANs
-
Plus I have seen this performed hundreds f times ( because I have a video of one of michael flatley's shows) and I can say that they are pretty much spot on.
-
@xalz718x: 1st of all, they aren't "ripping off" the dance. It's perfectly legal to perform, so long as they aren't doing the whole show. Secondly, they did a superb job at performing this dance. Yes there are some small formation problems, but the dance is spot on! Do you even do Irish dance? Because I would find it to be very hypocritical for you to be bashing their dancing and not even have attempted it.
-
Wow... if you're going to blatantly rip something off...don't do it poorly.
-
haha i love how if you watch the video of the final from this year there people slagging the girls off about being cheats and this one gives em credit, Good Good times :)

whos the solo shes really good??

I agree, this is an exact replica of "Break Out" from Lord of the Dance. However, all of the dancers did an AMAZING JOB!

Westminster Cathedral, London, has booked dancers from this Academy to perform on St. Patrick's night 2009 in the cathedral hall - followed by Black Velvet. A great evening for all! I am really looking forward to it.

I love how they did the transition into the faster tempo of music. They kept their costumes on! If only Mr. Flatley could manage to have a show where the ladies are modest like this.
