Couldn't stop the flow of tears..........God loves me jst like he love(S), still, jst like He loves every homosexual that has ever walked the face of this Earth. America is so full of overly religious nuts who do not even understand a topic they hear about once and condemn it. I live in south Alabama.....I knw all bout hate!! Stupid close-minded ppl, sickening, inbred ppl!!!!! Why hate?

My sweet friend! There were in fact people who loved Bobby and tried to make him feel good about who and what he was at the time! But attitudes towards Gay people, like those of his Mother Mary, were almost "Universally" held by the "Society" at large during those days!

Poor Bobby had been hurt and damaged, as "Sigourneys" character stated, "Beyond Repair"! I had been but a teenage boy myself at the time, and had had a fairly different experience, when I "Came Out" to both of my folks!

Sadly, though I had loved Bobby dearly, I was ill equipped to recognize, let alone understand the level of "Sheer Anguish" that poor sweet boy had been enduring! I do have the fond memory of my "Macho, Super Conservative, Ex College Football Playing" Dads' kindness and acceptance of Bobby, on the many occasions he permitted him to "Sleep Over" in our home with me!

I thank my "Ultra Cool" Dad to this day for being so "Unflinchingly Kind", while knowing all the while ,that Bobby and I had been sharing my bed! That was the early 1980's , so my Dads' rather "Progressive" attitude was very ahead of its' time! And I too sweet one am glad, and thank G-D that you "Came Back"!

so wonderfuly said. i only wish that my own mother would watch this movie maybe it ill opean her eyes and see where i come from. i only wish that bobby would have found someone he could talk to rather then takeing his life. i to almost done the same thing and im so glad and thankful that i came back.
