@MrHistorian123 - Thanks MrH for sending the link to the Grave New World movie. Powerful images. I'd never seen this before. A long form video before MTV -- pretty innovative. A few years ago Strawbs played here in New Jersey in a pub called Kroghs. Seems Cousins knows the owner & they play acoustic performances there. It was sold out. We were able to speak with Cousins & Lambert later in a manner that was memorable. I have much respect for Dave Cousins, his band & its music.
@MrHistorian123 - If that is true I am impressed. Cousins should play more lead guitar on some tracks then. Lambert is great, I have seen Strawbs live and up close many times and have even spoken to Cousins and Lambert. During their acoustic tours in small venues they didn't do songs like "Tomorrow." But this guitar work on this track was Strawbs flexing its muscles. Thanks MrHistorian123.
The Strawbs go almost heavy metal with this track to simply show non-believers they could if they wanted to. Dave Lambert is one hell of a lead guitarist. That instrumental ending with Richard Hudson assaulting his drums with lightning speed is just magnificent. Rock guitarists don't know what they are missing by not learning this song. It's a show stopper. A very under-rated band. I have seen them live and spoken to them and they are all incredible.

@lastrada52
All true, except the lead guitarist is actually Dave Cousins on this track.
Lambert hadn't joined when this was recorded.
But the whole Grave New World album is a masterpiece.
