History teaches humanity that humanity doesn't learn from history.

The U.S.A. is a nazi police state....Americans are losing their constitutional rights and "freedoms". The U.S.A. even has internal, nazi style checkpoints. It looks like 1939 nazi Germany.

In fairness, Prescott Bush was a director of the Union Banking Corporation, an investment bank controlled by the Thyssen family, which was seized in October 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act as being owned by "enemy aliens." Despite some early financial dealings between Prescott Bush and a Nazi industrialist named Fritz Thyssen (who was arrested by the Nazi regime in 1938 and imprisoned during the war), Prescott Bush was neither a Nazi nor a Nazi sympathizer (Wikipedia).

I'm glad to hear that, jackbnimble714! There are too many people who think the serial aggressor Adolf Hitler and his gang of anti-intellectual thugs were cool.
In Germany under the Nazis it was illegal to oppose the Fuhrer, and people were told Hitler had a "master plan." The message was: "just shut up and have blind faith in your leader" even though, if people could have looked objectively at real facts rather than propaganda, they'd realize their Fuhrer was leading them all to destruction.

I knew that.....I was just playing dumb! ;)

Hi, jackbnimble714, the song is the Horst-Wessel-Lied or "Horst Wessel Song," which was the anthem of the NAZI party from 1933 to 1945. The melody was written by Peter Cornelius, a Weimar composer, in 1865 and the lyrics were written by the NAZI brownshirt Horst Wessel in 1929.
As you'd expect, it's a corny song about marching around with the flag high and ranks closed tight. The SA used to sing this song as they got drunk and picked fights.
Wessel was murdered in 1930.

history is repeating
war never changes its only about conflict for beliefs and resources
We are a nation of sheep. The internet has given us this tiny opening to have our voice heard. If do not elect someone like Ron Paul (and who else is like Ron Paul) you can count on internet controls being put into place that will prevent us from ever having a movement like this again. I fear this is our one and only chance to restore freedom and reverse the slide toward facism.

That's why the media don't insist with the war crimes of the Bush Administration: they know they are accomplices and guilty too!
