@Safo8888 Believe it or not I thought the EXACT same thing when I watched this scene.

@tcmfan124 they were looking for dead bodies. After the fall of the Barksdale Organization is season 3, Marlo became the new drug kingpin. Unlike the Barkdales, Marlo thought that killing and disposing people in the vacants would bring less attention from the police. The police were clueless as to where the bodies were found.

can anyone from baltimore tell me what intersection this store is on???/?

Chris sure was a cold, hard bastard. There was something otherworldly about him. And I remember Lester looking everywhere for those bodies.

Chris is one of my favorite characters from the Wire. Not only does he have the same name as me, but he's a hard muthafucker. That scene when the beats the shit out of Michael's step dad was gruesome. I love blood and violence, but even that scene got to me

Chris plays that role so fucking perfect. He is so damn badass.

@tcmfan124 the bodies that were later found in the vacants

Anyone ever pick up on the song in the background as he kills the lady is "A Woman's Worth". David Simon and crew in a subtle way are basically saying that the audience feels a certain way about this scene because the delivery person is a woman. If it was a dude filling the pepsi cooler the reaction to this wouldn't be anywhere near what it is. Just one of the million examples of the never in your face genius of this show.
