nope it's real. $160 and authentic. I just shipped those ones I mentioned back to Monster for the free replacement. Monster would have told me that they were a fake but I'm getting new ones back from them as we speak. They sound great. Normal wear n tear like the gold plate rubbing off and the screen to cover the hole on one of the earbuds came out. Gotta love lifetime warranty!!
