  • Winwood, Capaldi and company made mystical musical magic together. I'm a little too young for Traffic etc but , I've seen Winwood perform alone or with Petty, Clapton,etc.-he just is a born gifted artist that pours his heart and soul and powerful smooth voice and musical ability into every note.

Too bad the younger generation of musicians(?) don't learn more from his lead. Now along with poor/no talent there is too much electo/techo beats instead of real musicians. It's sad they sell records.

  • Holy cow, this song is damn awesome.

  • faved..

  • i saw this tour...remarkable music made before the dumbing down of the rock music audience...which began in 1974 when traffic broke up and ushered in arena rock and disco era

  • i agree those who choose should heard this solo and dear mr fantasy

  • I think that the BBC did a special on rock guitar masters many years ago and featured Steve Winwood playing Pearly Queen on, I think, a beautiful white Strat. He was white hot on some amazing riffs; it was then that I realized what a good guitar player he was.

  • awesome live version of this song. most of todays music is all show and no meat.

  • Woodstock baby!!!!

  • One of my favorites from a great band. I used to go to this way off the beaten track cvlub in Madrid, Spain - Chris Wood played there alot, got to know him a bit

  • Another fine guitarist, who fell through the cracks without the credit they deserved .

  • What I would have given to have seen Traffic in concert back in the early 1970's. Sadly, could have gone and did not. Great artist never pass there music continues to live on and is just as relevant today as it was 20, 30, 40 years ago. Timeless music.

  • great to see Jim playing behind a kit...I miss him.
