  • @PrivetKaboose The piccolo trumpet does not change the pitch that you play on the mouthpiece. You will have the same basic range. Lighter sound, less demanding, and you are playing one octave lower in the harmonic series so the partials are farther apart letting you lock onto the partials better. But it is no cakewalk to play. Playing it warmly, freely, and in tune like this is demanding. This guy is fantastic.
